Baba's Abishek(bath) during Thanks-giving Prayers, 31 Dec2010

On the Eve of New Year, 31st December 2010,
we were blessed to have Shirdi Baba's Temple 1st Priest, trained in Shirdi to come to our home to conduct
a short service of Prayers and to conduct a "Bath" session for Baba-ji's statue, followed by Devotional singing.
All vegetarian food were then enjoyed by everyone that came.

It was all so Peaceful, Calm and Serene!
The atmosphere was so Blissful!

I was over-joyed to see all my friends that came early to help me arrange the fruits.
One firend arived quite early while I was still stirring the pan for the last dish of Rice Noodles
before another set of friends arrived and our Priest arrived sharp on time with his wife and two lovely kid and baby!
Made a dash for quick second shower and dressed in Yellow Seluar-Kamis in no time for Baba's Abishek(shower in milk)this time.

More guests were arriving this time and as you can see on my lastyear's youtube, Baba-ji had a garland of Jasmine flowers which I wished him to have. This time I could not see them at the shops and I did not want to bother anyone on asking where I could get one this time. What do you know! The next family that arrived with Tabla-drums brought a garland of Fresh Jasmine flowers for Baba-ji! It is a real wonder to me and I had to mention it to all present!
Immediately after Baba's bath, he was all covered in sweet-smelling Jasmine flowers!

Then another family came and offered some apples and oranges with another garland of Jasmine and some Orange flowers, which requested to me to hang as a "neck-lace" for the coconut offer to Baba-ji on the table.
Baba came and admired all while I prayed to Bless all that came that evening.
Some came from a dostance of driving. Some had their own Prayer ceremony early in the morning as early as 5a.m. in their own homes and cooking and bringing some tasty curry and rice to our home as well for Baba and sharing.
Most brought Sweets for Baba-ji while I cooked Yellow Wheat Noodles(non-egg) and Rice Noodles and and Spicy Gluten and Egg-Plant Malaysian Curry with some White Jasmine Rice!

Everything went so smoothly with just Soft drinks as the norm with me.

When all guests have left, my friend Rupa volunteered to stay back to clear the dinner table for me, so I could go to bed early. So kind of her!
I told her that every year I stay awake to asher the New Calendar Year with Silent Meditation and this I had been doing for countless number of years even while I was living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

At 11.45a.m. I started to light candles as it was close to 12a.m.!
Then at 12.03a.m. a flower bud fell off the stem of the Singapore Orchids that was in the vase on Mata(Kuan-Yin's alter)!
Rupa was jsut standing there clearing the dishes away! She looked surprised and picked it up and told me about it.
I requested her to leave it at the jar of candle-light that I had lighted for Meditation to welcome the New Year of 2011!

Next, I sat down to meditate and my friend sat somewhere behind me in her own comfortable personal space.
After sometime, I opened my eyes and then her as I heard a shuffle from her movement. I looked around and saw a fallen tissue lying way back of the room, which I should have thrown away earlier. So I got up to pick it up to throw away, as I had nothing else to do! Lightly I picked it up leaving another layer of tissue on the carpet.
went So, I went back to stoop for the second time to pick up to throw it away. This second time I passed by the table, I noticed when the Red Roses' Petals had fallen out of the basket which I had heaped them all up neatly in a pile,to offer to Baba-ji while our Priest was still chanting his Mantra.

None of us had gone to the table to touch anything before and after our Meditation!
We noted that only the entire of the basket has a shallow hole of petals in the middle of the basket like it had been "scooped" out???
Looks like it! How? and looked like it happened during our Meditation!

Anyway, what a Beautiful Feeling and Experiences of this Spiritual Occasion!!!

So I looked for my camera, took snapshots of them. My friend did the same with her own camera before she left for her own home to a hopeful New Year!

Thank you God and May Baba-ji Bless Us All Always!

The little flower-bud that fell off Mata (Mother, Kuan-Yin's) alter.

The Rose petals that dropped onto table during our Meditation at mid-night to the new Year of 2011!

I noted that only the middle of the brass basket has a shallow scoop of rose-petals fallen out!
Such a amazing beautiful feeling that morning!!!
Thank you, oh dear God who loves us all!
Jai Sai Ram!
