God Can Teach you Anything You Love Doing!

Yes, indeed, if you love Doing something out of the usual and you Pray hard to Sai Baba-ji, he can help you
with it.
I heard a very beautiful bhajan of Sai on youtube oneday, called "Kutiya Mein Mere Aaoo Baba," and pondered on how I could get the lyrics for it. I tried so hard , clicking here and there on Google search for hours into the night, but still was not able to get it!

When I went to Shirdi Sai Baba's Temple in Sydney for his Anniversary function, I saw the Devotee who had given me the "title" of a former bhajan(devotional song) I wanted to know some 6 years ago. (Story I had published in my Blog, before this new one that I am writing now).
I told him that this time I would like to how where to find the "source" of the link to get Hindi devotional lyrics on the net! He said write the title of Bhajan and he could help me from there.
Then I went home and went back again to Temple for more Temple programmes as there was Mata's programme going on. This time his lovely young wife, Anu came and exchanged a few greetings with me. This time I had already written the names of 2 bhajan lyrics that I was after and asked her to hand it to her Husband.

Straight away she replied that she Can and Will Help me with it, no problems!
She found them for me so quickly and Sai Baba-ji also helped me to learn one of the bhajan that I liked so much ( title mentioned above ).
She also supplied me the Translation of the bhajan(devotioal song), making me learn it more meaningfully.
I really Pray that Sai Baba-ji will Always Bless Her and Her Family. This is 2nd time this same Family had assisted me with bhajans that I wished to know the meaning or to learn how to sing it eventually!

It was like 3 days that I got the "hang" of the song, and within the week I was able to sing it fairly well, with Sai Baba-ji's assistance ( my favourite Saint, who passed away in Shirdi in 1918).
I Prayed and Prayed so hard that he really came and helped me learn how to sing a Hindi song, getting the tune and the lyrics into my head.

Then the following week I got an e-mail from the Organizers of Bhajan Session that they requested me to sing one Bhajan solo on that following week-end on Sunday.
I told myself that I Trust Baba-ji will come and help me sing, so I wrote out the lyrics of this new bhajan as required by anyone singing a new bhajan at Temple and e-mailed it to them,  instead of singing some old ones for so many years!

So I went on Practising with new bhajan very diligently whenever I was free at home!

Came the day, 24th od June, I was so "excited" as I walked intoTemple and told a Devotee friend how I felt that evening! This Lady was one of the other Singers on the "list" as she waited in front of me to give our Respect to Sai Baba-ji, who is my "Guru-ji," (Master/Teacher).

I had so much Trust and Faith in Sai Baba-ji to come and help me remember how the tune of the Hindi bhajan went and also whether the words I uttered was pronounced audibly in Hindi, I hoped!
Come to think of it, it could have "scared me stiff," but I had full Faith, Baba-ji will Not Fail me, as always, and He Never Did!  Thank you Oh! Baba-ji!  Jai Sai ram!!!

Sai Baba-ji really is very Simple to Please and Blesses Us All!

Gist of he meaning of the devotional song:-
Oh Baba please come and Dwell in my humble hut, (can mean our body, "Aatma")..........
.................etc.
With your love in my heart I await patiently, saily for you1
The Flowers that I had laid on my pathway may dry up soon,
so plase hurry, Sai, Please Come ASAP!

I am "cleansing" my home ( myself) for your warm welcome1
In my home, you will only find LOVE, love made from the beads of thy Holy name!

I am longing for your visit to my humble hut! please don't take too long as I would like to show you the love in my heart and my hut.
My heart is so eagerly waiting and I hope I do not have to wait for my Entire Life for you to Come!

Better still, for Relaxation and Baba-ji's love, go to  http://www.youtube.com.au/Kutiya Mein Aa Baba/
a Sai bhajan

and Enjoy this Bhajan for Yourself or with Family!

It was a Spiritual and Up-lifting Evening for us all!
Jai Sai Ram!
P.S.
Special Gratitude to Baba-ji's earnest Devotee, Anu for making this Possible for me!
She has already done her share of Service to Baba-ji in her "voluntary act of love for Sai!"
JAI SAI RAM!
With Baba-ji's Blessings!

GOD Can Make Things Happen for You!

Yes, That's right! When you think God,  love God, He can Unfold the "unexpected," right under your nose!
Well, I wish to recall an experience that I had in Shirdi Sai Baba's Temple in South Strathfield,Sydney in early August of 2006.

I attended the Wonderful Evening Aarti (singing prayers) of the night! Then, as usual I found a "quiet" spot for myself, sitting on the carpeted floor to Pray and Meditate. Soon after that, I opened my eyes and briefly gazed with curious look at Sai Baba-ji's statue and stared in front of me.

Next instance a "volunteer" Devotee, Suraj, walked towards me, stooped low and enquired if I wanted something.
My reply to him was, "No, I am fine, but I was telling Baba-ji just now, that I wished to learn how to sing the very lovely bhajan (devotional song) to him one-day, but I Do Not even Know the title of the bhajan!"
Then this Devotee asked me to hum the tune aloud, so he can identify it for me!
So, I went on to hum just a line or two to him.

The very next moment, he put his hand into his pocket, Pulled out his  Mobile phone, Switched it on  and Held it out for me to Listen to the Tune that was on it!

"Yes!" "Yes!" that was the bhajan I was after, I exclaimed!!!
Then he told me the title was called, "Jag Me Sacho Tero Naam."

Next instance, the Director of this Temple, heard our conversation from the other side of the Hall and said that the Lyrics are in the Temple Bhajan book, and he instructed someone to go and get one for me from the cupboard.
As I made my way towards the cupboard near the door entrance, Mr. Roa-ji was walking out towards the door, informed me it is Bhajan No. 32 on such and such a page!

It was with Great excitement as I turned over the pages and found the Title of the Bhajan!
Then, next Mrs. Kumar(former Doc.) was next beside me. Without hesitaion, she explained the meaning of of every line of the bhajan (song) lyrics. This was so helpful as it made my learning on how to sing the bhajan so much easier with its meaningful meanings.

All this clearly showed that Sai Baba-ji was Present and Always Is Present All the Time in his Temple.
Meaning of the Bhajan too mentioned that God is Everywhere!!!

Sai Baba-ji is so well-loved and all his  Devotees, Young and Old, are always Most Happy to do "sewa," serve Him in any small way they are able to!

"JAI SAI RAM!"

May Sai Baba-ji Bless Us All Always!

P.S.

Nancy the Mystic: "Accept Change"

Nancy the Mystic: "Accept Change"

"Accept Change"

I found this little verse which I had kept for so many years and thought I share it with whoever is reading this page.

God, grant me the ability to change those thiings I cannot accept  those things I cannot change  and the wisdom to know the difference.
Today I will remind myself that the only permanent thing in the world is change  and I will welcome the challenge of change. When I willingly accept change, I can make miracles happen.
Today I will remember that the only person I can ever change is me.
To-day I will remember that for things to change for me I will have to change.
To-day I will regconize that I can change where I am and what I am by changing what goes into my mind.

When I was a Manager of a Cooking pot company for many years, I used to get news-letters ever week posted out to me with Motivational verses on one of the pages. I used to cut these out, enjoyed reading  them and then left them here and there in drawers at home! Yesterday I  found this particular one which I like. The words of Wisdom are so True!

However, I wondered who the Brilliant Person that wrote it in the first place. Not me, Ha! Ha! Ha!

Have a Wonderful Time and Life!

"Chap Goh Mei," 15th day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar!

This marks the end of the 15th day of "celebration" for Chinese Buddhists!

Prayers are offered to heavenly God during these Auspicious Days at home daily or it is timely to go and pray
at local temples!

"Chap" means ten, "Goh" means five, and "Mei" means night. So, it means the 15th night of Chinese New Year!

In the old days, the young maidens go out with their parents or gardians of course, taking with them some oranges that had been offered at their home shrine alters to go and throw them into the river! Knowing that, naturally those days the young men would also gather to try to "look-see," "look-see," prospecting for a Beautiful future wife for themselves. However, all marriages were done with their parents or elders. Match-made Marriages were the norm of the day!

These days, all this traditions have disappeared for the Modern Newly-Weds!

This evening my son got home from work and one of his Chinese friend asked him if he was going to eat "Kueh Ee," on Chap Goh Mei! He asked if I made some and I replied that I never remembered anything of this on this night! My memory failed, at las! I only knew how to offer fruits and Chinese Tea and lovely incences at all my home shrine alters and kept the Oil lamps alight and kept on offering incence sticks or Sandal wood coiled-incence most of the day and night!
Just thanking God, Shirdi Sai Baba-ji, Universal Mothers (Matas) Different God names like Buddha-ji, Virgin Mother Mary and her son, Jesus that I had known since growing up and all had helped me till now, and Devas and Devis (heavenly beings), Angels from four corners of the Earth, although the World is Round!!!

So, to keep this Tradition "alive," I hurriedly made the Auspicious Chinese sweet dumplings in our kitchen!
In my heart, I was thnkful for my son's friend to have told him that, or I would have "missed" the fun of making this popular dessert!

I offered this Sweet Dumplings filled with brown coconut sugar in lightly sweet syrup to all my home alters with short thanks and later enjoyed some from the pot with my son.

We must be Blessed and Thank God for Sweet Dumplings on this Auspicious night!

Sweet Glutinous Rice Balls (Kueh Ee, in Malaysian Hokkein dilect).

Three "auspicious" bowls to offer for Prayers with Sandal wood incence.

Have a Nice Time!

Wishing you All and Very Happy and Prosperous and Healthy Year of the Dragon, according to this year's Chinese Lunar Calendar!

Thank you for viisting my Blogspot and Please Share this with your Friends and Family!

Peace and Best wishes,
Nancy

Kindness shown in Sinagapore!

Towards the end of my stay in Singapore, I went in "search" of a Buddhist Temple where the High Priest is a good friend of one of my brothers in Malaysia.

On the way there, I walked around the shops to purchase some cakes and fruits etc. to bring to the temple.

Look what I found...... on one of the chairs of a crowded Food-court, and nobody bothered about this little cute cat fast asleep!

I felt this "Kindness" all around me throughout my stay in Singapore!

Thank  you Singaporeans!

You are Lovely People in a Beautiful country.

I wish to share with you a gift with a saying on the tea-coaster I recieved when I prayed at the extrance of an old Taoist/Buddhist temple under-going great renovations! Each time a person came and did a prayer and gave a donation, a gong was sounded thrice!
What a Wonderful Experience!

The tea-coaster given to me has a black and white "Yin and Yang" design on it, and printed with Tao Te Ching Chapter 8 that says:-

 "ULTIMATE KINDNESS IS LIKE WATER.
WATER BENEFITS RATHER THAN RIVALS WITH EVERYTHING."

Picture here shows side of the temple with its front all closed up for Massive renovations!

With God's Blessings, I may get the opportunity to visit Beautiful Singapore again!

I Never Planned Anything, God Gave Me All the Opportunities I Have Experienced in my Life-time!
Thank you God, Every Morning and Night!
It's 3.30a.m. now in Sydney, and I really have to go to bed now!

Cherrio and Please come and vist my blogspot time and time again, many thanks!

Peace and Blessings!
