Given lots of Care and Love, Pets Learn to Please.

Hello to All, It has come to my understanding that a Pet is most willing to co-operate with what one wishes a pet to do, if only we try to note its wants and behavior first. Like a "spoilt child," it begins to do his best in turn to please it's Carer or Mother or whoeverlooks after it. One can never teach a pet anything except through true meaning of L-O-V-E! Animals are very simple though sensitive creatures and they are very smart and only have a few basic needs, fortunately. Snowytan, my pet-Corella bird is so Cute and Clever! He loves us and we love him for his Joy he gives us everyday. Thank you Snowytan! We are Blessed with an unusual creation of God living with us. Praise to God always! Nancy Tan

Snowythecorella channel up-loaded into the cooking channel of Nancy!!!

Good morning to Family members and Friends that may be visiting my blog, I hope so!

I am so sleepy still this morning, and thought I could do with some nap, but I was busy on the "net" once it was on! Net and youtube ceratinly has it "magic of captivation!"

Back of my mind I wanted to up-load a fresh "old" video clip of Snowy's (he's my smart beloved pet-bird)as it had been been two months now since the last one was up! So were all my other channels I have up-loaded.......youtube.com/cookingwithnancy/....., mysticnancy/.......and snowythecorella......!

It taught me now again, that each time I up-load something new on, I must really check carefully which channel I was switched into at that moment, or else it would appear in the wrong channel, like this one did!
Snowythecorella/ is now on Nancy's cooking channel at http://www.youtube.com/cookingwithnancy/ Please excuse me for not being able to see me cooking but instead talking to my bird!!!
I spent so much time trying to find how to delete it but in vain this time.

I suppose I leave it as, "Cleaning your mouth, teeth or "beaks" as in the case of Snowy my dearest pet, is very important before and after eating!

So, I take this opportunity to wish you all very healthy teeth and gums, as it is important to our well-being!

Have a Great Laugh and Happy Days!

May each of your days be Filled with Laughter and Joy!

Peace and Love to you and the World around you!

God gave me a "Passion for appreciation of Drums!"

My first experience with the huge loud drum was during Chinese New Year in my birthplace in Malaysia! The Chinese "Lion-dancing group" made their rounds at all the shops that hung a "red packet," containing gift money for the Cultural Troupe. The Lion would dance to the "thunderous gongs" of the huge drum and giant hand-gripped cymbals that go, "Clang-clang! Clang! in presition timing to the drum beats! This I know now is absolutely important, because the highly-trained "Lion" takes its steps and "dare-devil" leaps to great heights and do feats to achive its goal at the end of its performance! (I will try to locate videos of Lion-dancing Work-shop which I attended last February in Sydney.) Thank God for having given me that opportunity, as it was Never Too Old for me to Learn anything, Unforgetable!!!

I prayed to Shirdi Baba-ji yesterday afternoon and asked if I could bring my drum to his temple to drum during "Aarti!" (devotional service time). When the answer was, "yes!" I pulled out my drum from its bag to check if I could still remember how to drum on it and how it would sound like as I had not played with it for about a year now.

When Baba-ji first lead me to his temple before his second Annisversary, I used to "bang" the same type of drum, but only drumming on one side of the two sided drum! Things have changed now for me, by him! Most times I hear Baba-ji himself drumming on it! I really do not have the "strength" in my poor hands to speak the truth!

" Happy Diwali, Baba! Happy Diwali Mata! Then I started drumming! Before long, I shouted to my son to come and help me with the camera so I can upload it on youtube to catchup with my relatives and friends here and all over the World!

After that I had to cook Chinese yellow wheat noodles to take to Baba's temple.
I could not carry the drum and the big basin of Noodles plus my hand-bag and a little bag of hand instruments for devotional singing. I was lucky my son helped me to the car! Then when I arrived onto the greens, a car pulled out, as if to give me their spot! As I went to open the booth, two young men passed by and I shouted to them to come help me like "sons" to me. I needed help for the drum only, but the other devotee helped me with the basin of noodles. See, how Baba-ji does things for us when we think of him?

On entering temple, a small little boy sung the second song which I sang at home which was up-loaded, as "On the third day of Diwali." Then I took my bow and sat on the floor and tried to sing in the chorus. Suddenly I felt someting was "missing" from all the singing! I turned to look at the men's division and saw the "drummer" there and asked, "How come there's no Tabla( classical Indian drums to-day?)" Shake of head! So, I nodded to Baba-ji and continued to learn how to sing with the singers. Then the same Devotee came over after another song and suggested if I would like to play with my drum I brought along which was kept near the feet of a Lady Devotee. She passed me the drum, while her daugther was starting to sing a lovely bajan. I took a bow at Baba's feet to thank him and requested him to come and help me play the drum for me.
Baba-ji always did, which did not surprise me. Of course he showed himself to me as always during his Bajan-sessions. He was all covered in some white-looking flowers last night!

My left wrist is not the stronger hand of mine as I had former wrist injuries from work, but that was never a problem at all when I play the "Dolak"(two sided-drum) for him or any Spritual Masters in the Past!

This is one of the reasons why I love going to Baba-ji's temple.
It is a Temple of Hope and Inspiration for me and Baba-ji keeps advising me, "It is Never Too Late to Learn Anything Useful and Do Not Worry What Others May Think or Say about You!"

What I Do is Not about Me, and It is About My Love and Joy to Play to Connect with the "unseen" Supreme Happiness within all of Us All!

Baba, Jai Sai Ram! Jai Mata-Di! Praise to The Supreme Master, God!!!
Peace and Happiness to All,
Nancy

This is just a quick note on my page to record what I saw again in my vision on moring of Tuesday, 26th October, 2010.
Before the end of my meditation, A gentle vision of "Mata" appeared again.
This time I saw her standing in my vision and she stepped a little forward and stopped and stretched out both her arms slightly and placed them back alongside her. Then the image blurred and faded out!

Mother Goddess, Please Bless Us All!

Jai Mata-di!'

A Lovely Vision came to my mind.

This morning as I finished meditating and about to return to the real World, a serene and lovely face of Divine Mother Goddess, "Mata, Kuan Yin Maa, Ammar, Tara,"whatever name one may call her, just came into being! With eyes wide opened, it's gone!

Gently shutting my eyes again for the second time, I was lead to, as if drifting into a morning nap. This time another image came into vision. This same image came and gone over and over again over the past 8 years--------SNOWY?!!!
Snowy is my beloved pet-Corella bird, that talks and understands English and knows how to communicate with me very well and also my son, David too now.

Only this time I see his image frontal, two "slantly eyes" and a beak on his white soft-feathered little head! I could not see his red dotted "kum-kum" though. When I lighted my incence stick(argabattie), and waved it in circular movements in the air towards my main alter at home, Snowy wanted to do the same! Naturally, I let him do it with some help as his "two" that God gave him are his two unflexsible "fingers" as well as "toes"! What a Marvel of a Creature he is! I really admire him and love him, as he loves me.

He is such a Copy-cat of everything I do, and say, sometimes in his "silent mind" but I can get his message even if he cannot express it in so much words as we do!
Seeing is believing!
However, you can view it yourself if you click into http:/youtube.com/snowythecorella and you scroll down to view. " Snowy praying with Agarbattie." I think it was under that heading, but I will be back later if the heading is not correct!

Have a Wonderful Day, though it is very Chilly and Gloom-looking day after the drizzle over in Sydney!
However, it is up to one to make the Best of the Weather and be Happy and I Thank God for Everything and this Inspration to write on my blog to-day, 25th October 2010!

Sometime last month I had vision of Shirdi Baba-ji, my favourite deceased Holy Saint, and the next day of Babu-ji, Spiritual Meditation Master! All Blessed Visions of Divine Love and Peace and Serenity!!!
I thank God for all this Blessing!

May your Life be Filled with Love and Blessings!

Cherrio for now!
Peace and love,
Nancy

Baba's Palki back in Temple!

God showed it by my Way of Knowing that He loves Me!

Greetings to you, all in this World,

Shirdi Baba-ji has so many ways of showing his love and his presence when we visit him at his Mandir(temple) in Sydney.
So many times over the past few years he had given me "ONE PIECE of a SMALL CRUMB" of his Blessed Prasadam(food) offered to him on Grand Occasions with so huge a Crowd I can't imagine there is any food left for me when I get out of his temple after prayers of talking and meditating with him!

Many years ago on his 2nd Annisvesary, a big cake was offered on his occasion and cut in his temple. As usual I went out without expecting for food or anything! Just walking around aimlessly, if you know what I mean. Just happy to be Blessed to get opportunity to be there only!

Oh! Yes! I saw a few devotees still on queue for "prasadam" (blessed food) so I told myself, why not! When I got my plate, a Lady in saree called me over and shouted to her friends and come hear this lady who has things to say about Shirdi Baba-ji. As I was talking about Baba's "lila" little unexplained things he showed upon me, I exlaimed, Oh! I forgot about his Annisversary Cake!
One Lady said it was on that big table there and it would be all gone by then as it was late and there was such a huge Crowd at such fuctions! I replied, "Not to worry, as I only wanted just a small crumb to celebrate with Baba-ji and thank him for his occassion!

When I went over the huge table, was the cake base and sitted on it in the middle was, a "delicously-looking," one perfect piece of Baba's Cake, as if for me only, waiting for me to pick it up to enjoy!
I rushed back to all the ladies chatting in the corner of the buiding and they were all amazed with what Baba-ji Blessed me with!!!
Jai Sai Ram! That is why I always love Baba-ji, because Baba-ji shows me his love to me, this way!

This last bit of food for me, happened so many times over so many years. Even Last month, another incident of another kind with food which I promised the devotee that brought Baba-ji's coconut to me that I will have to write on this blogg and I can only write what Baba-ji wants me to write about first at this moment. Some wonderful incidents I wanted to write with photos to proof of Divine's presence, still 'locked in my mind" for so many years now!!! When God gives me the keys to enter his writing-space, only them can I sit still and typed without any effort only!

Sheer Bliss only!

Jai Sai Ram!!!
Peace and love to All!
P.S.
If you know of anyone that loves such Spiritual stories, please inform them of my blogg and subscribe to it please!

Last Sunday, was Baba's Dusserah's Celebrations and I was so fortunate to recieve his last piece of "roti." being also last on the queue of thousands of devotees that came that evening's fuctions. One new devotee could not imagine the crowd, so I took a video to up-load soon on you-tube and suddenly remembered to ask one devotee that came behind me to also queue for prasadam, so I requested him to take photo of the last "roti" from Baba's own Silver plate, offered to him earlier! The photo turned up to be on "video-mode instead. So please view very much later when I get time to up-load them in a few days from now please. Please remember, thanks!

Thank you very much for visiting!

It is easy to forget something when you are "active!"

Dear All!

It is very easy to forget to do something you have planned earlier, if you are up and walking about, even in your own home!

Have you ever realised that if you are not serious on doing something, the next thing will come into your mind to keep you busy all the time, and before you know it, "The SUN HAS GONE DOWN!!!" Oh my God, you'd say, I needed that walk to soak some Vitamin D that is so essential for my skin to absorb it into my body for what??? For my bones and teethof course!

As I am writing this, the Sun is shining!
As I finish this, "Oops! Where is the Sun now? It has gone into hiding behind the clouds!!!
My son, just exclaimed to Snowy, "It is going to rain, Snowy!" Snowy understood as he is an intelligent pet-Corella big bird!

Only God is in Control of the Elements!!!

Oh my God! Please give me sensible time!

Back to what I was trying to imply here before I forget!

I just wanted to record some of the ingredients that I have used to cook a lovely "entree" vegetarian dish to add on to my son's dinner and because I wanted to have something vegetarian for myself last Tuesday, 20th April'10.
I had become a Vegetarian for every Tuesday, God pleasing, and when I am invited to go to friends' home that were having some sort of Prayers or Devotional singing for Peace etc.! etc! etc! Also when I visit places of worship where the "keepers" are Vegetarians themselves, out of Respect and for Deep "connection" with Divinity! It is so Wonderous Feelings of Emotions!

Ingredients used were: Some Olive oil, canned Corn kernals, some Self-raising flour, Roasted Yam flour, few leaves of Chinese parsley and Basil leaves, 2 very hot green Bird's eye chillies, water and a pinch of Himalayan (brownish red/white) rock salt!

Result: Absolutely Divine!!! Yumm!
Thanks, God! for the meal!

I promise I will write out this recipe with exact measurements for you to follow as I cooked it in a hurry, tossing in this and that and with the estimate in my mind! Thank you God for helping out with my grey cells!

Please try to visit my blogspot from time to time, as I try to find the "mood-time" to write, as I write with all my passion for God's love.
Your Precious time and Patience for visiting my site, is very much appreciated!

I would like to share with you this quote:-

"I don't want to achieve immortality through my work..............

I want to achieve it through not dying."

By:Woody Allen.

Talk to you soon!

Peace and love,

Nancy

Happiness is Spontenous!

This morning, when I checked into my View Blog on Nancy the Mystic, I was so HAPPY to discover that I have now one first person, happy to follow my blogspot! I almost had given up hope and had stopped visiting my site till this morning!!!

So, thank you very much kind, Kathmandu Channel. You will always be remembered with great gratitude for being the first brave enough to sign in, giving me continued inspiration to write on.

Another incidence of "Happiness" for me. On the 4th April, 2010 I went to Shirdi Baba's temple with two packets of "Frogies" chocolates for the kids, which I kept in my bag of hand-instruments, to be distributed after "bajans," (singing).
As I was singing and playing with the musical cymbals, "clang! clang!"clanging, accompanying the Tabla-drummer, an exceptionally beautiful and cute girl,(toddler) came and stood gaping at me, while my eyes were still closed! What a pleasant surprise! When I opened my eyes, I saw such beautiful innocent eyes, a perfectly angelic face with soft curly hair starring at me.

Aha! I suddenly remembered the chocolates in my decorative red little Indian bag!" Hurriedly I pulled out one packet of the chocolates from it and shoved it into the little girl's hands.

She took and held it with amusement! Then, the next moment, she laid the packet on the floor in front of me! Before I could think any further, she laid herself down on the floor beside me and placed her pretty head on the packet of Chocolates, treating it like a PILLOW! Oh! my God! My heart felt so "tickled-happy," to witness this unusual scene of front of the temple, right in front of Baba's stature, and close to his "Slippers!"
Clearly here, God came to Show me, the true meaning of "Pure and Innocent!" To a child's mind the packet of "goodies"is worthless and it looks like a pillow to her. So, she had her choice to make a pillow to suit her fancy at that time! Seeing this, her Mom stretched forward and carried her back to sit on her lap, behind me. Another sweet little 6 year old girl, sitting behind me was watching in eagerness and she loves chocolates, like all kids, if you know what I mean. I had meant to give her the other packet in my bag later, but that had to come out just as well then and thrusted into her earger hands. You can see her face beaming with Happiness!

I was Most Happy to have been shown, that little child that had no desire nor want from life!

All she knew was to play and live!

"To Play and Live," is real blessing than to "Live to Play," as I think it is, somehow!

Anyway, May God Bless Us with Happiness Within!

Peace, Love and Light!
Your friend,
Nancy
