During meditation I drifted into an "active" dream!

Yesterday, Thursday morning(6/11/08), I said all my prayers to all my deities, especially to Shirdi Baba as it was his special day, on my alters at home. Then later, after I had completed my "sotrum" for Sri Chakra Devi Ammar, I closed my eyes and fell into a really deep meditation, like I fell asleep! Just before coming to, I saw an Indian lady in cobalt blue sari with silvery white trimmings appearing to me and she said, "Nancy, here, take this pasta! It is for you!" I stretched out my right hand and received it from her and thought how strange for her to have given me pasta of all things! Who is this lady??? I was so stunned when I came out of my meditation, my right hand was actually stretched out towards my alter from where I was seated! It was an amazing experience!

Quite recently too, on the following morning after I attended Ayah's World Peace Prayers on its' last day, I saw a "small" lady in Crimson bright sari who appeared and stood next to Ayah, when he was concluding the Sri Chakra work-shop and was busy chanting! I was trying to chant together with him, and when I opened my eyes to look at Ayah, that was what I witnessed! Later when I related to Ayah, he said that was "Ammar" who followed Ayah wherever he went! I could not remember the whole thing now, but I could have written and saved it somewhere in my computer. As from now on, I have to write it out as soon as I can onto blog! Thank you, Team-personnels! Thank you God!

I remembered everything now, so to-day, 13/12/08 I have re-edited certain things on a clear mind! Thank God!

This is all for the time being for my Spiritual Diary.

I have created "My Spiritual Visual Diary" and anyone can view it by accessing it on:-
"www.youtube.com/mysticnancy/"

It occurred to my mind that morning I must have been dreaming, and when I finally opened my eyes, it surprised me to notice that I was actually stretching out my right hand towards the middle of my alter where my Sri Chakra is placed, in front of Shirdi Sai Baba-ji, followed by Lord Shiva and Parvathi with Lord Ganesha on her lap!

I thanked her whole-heartedly for this experience! I do not comprehend anything at this moment as I am so ignorant and do not understand dreams and how it can affect our lives as some people do!

This amused me and I continue to pray more diligently every morning and put a smile in my heart!

Prayers are so beautiful!

Peace and good-will,
Nancy

My next post would be on the "beauty" of the "Seluar-kamis!"

Vegetarian Chinese-styled dish packed with Proteins

Yesterday was Tuesday, devotional day to Mata-Di (Ammar in Southern India), it means Universal Mother! It is my wish to create and cook something vegetarian every Tuesday now in Sweet Devotion to Universal Mother!

Only by March, 2009 did I come to know that Tuesday is also Shree Hanuman-ji 's(Monkey God) special day, as well. Never too late to learn something everyday!

Please be aware when one say that one is a vegetarian and eats only vegetables, which are mostly "greens" so one thinks when one tries to become a Vegetarian! To a Taoist/Buddhist, their "Monastery" diet can be quite different and packed with vegetarian proteins. For example one may be eating "Roast Duck, Chicken," and "Prawns" all made from vegetarian origin like soy beans, peas, root starches from lotus roots or tapioca, nuts and pulses etc., and the list goes on and on! For those that may think ,a vegetarian eat"boring" food, like "salads" all the time, please take some time to experiment with this simple dish which I have created for you, which you could serve with Steamed Rice or Boiled Noodles or even Pasta!

Fried Tofu and Soy strips with Chinese Mushrooms

Ingredients;-
600g hard tofu
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 tablespoon Ghee (clarified butter) or vegetable cooking oil
1 cup dehydrated soy strips, soaked in water till it plumps up
2-3 medium-sized dried Chinese/Shintake' mushrooms, soaked in water till it plumps up
3/4 cup chopped fresh coriander
3-4 hot red chillies, finely sliced into strips
1/2 cup light Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon dark Soy Sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon Sesame oil (optional)
Dash of white or black pepper

Method:
Rinse tofu block and slice into 1cmx2.5cm pieces or 1cm cubes. Lightly sprinkle salt over tofu pieces
Heat up oil in a Chinese wok or flat frying pan
Add in tofu and allow it to brown a little before turning them over with spatula till golden brown
Add mushrooms to fry on the side of pan, and mix well with tofu when you detect its fragrant
Add soy strips and chillies, soy sauce and then fresh coriander
Sprinkle in sesame oil and add pepper just before dishing out

Serve with steaming hot Jasmine rice or Par-boiled rice or boiled Noodles or Pasta

Bon Appetite! Enjoy!

Car Keys gone "missing!!!"

Many a times I have misplaced my car-keys, this time I really lost it!!! Did it turn up? Please read on, thanks!

David my dearest son,

You knew how anxious I was last evening (30/10/08) as I rang you on your mobile to enquire if there was any chance you would be home earlier than usual? Reason was that I had to go to attend Baba-ji's Aarti on Thursdays at Shirdi Sai Temple in Sydney which started sharp at 7.30 p.m. and I would not have missed it if I could have helped it!
My car keys could not be found although I searched very carefully at all the different places that I may have placed the keys! I sat down coolly and prayed and asked Baba-ji why was it that I was not fortunate to visit him that Thursday evening?
When I told my son that, he asked, "Why not?" I said maybe for some unknown reason only God knows, so I should accept it for a change!

On the positive side, I know he wanted me spend more time learning how to handle the "net" better. I remember last year I was fondly and jokingly laughed at because I asked for help and did not even know how to use the lap-top to access my Gmail account that David set up for me, so I can read mails when I was away from home. I told myself, "God gave me life to do so many things of different practical skills and I seldom sit down except to eat, so that was one of the excuse for not being familiar with the computer!" However this is a blessing for me, as I naturally think it is not too old for me to learn something new! Thank you, my dear son! We all know that you are blessed with computer knowledge and a natural patient "Guru!" Thank you too for spending so many hours a fortnight ago on your precious Saturday night till 5 a.m to fix it for me.
I must have "stuffed" it up trying to remember all your instructions to do all these "You-tube" presentations and transferring images from your old camera into the computer as you were too busy, and most of the times I had to wait too long to get to see the pictures on my computer that I had taken with your camera. God Bless you son and "Thank You God,"as it keeps me busy at my age, learning something new all the time! I am truly always racing after the Clock, without a dull moment!

After a tedious searchfor my car keys again, I decided to back track my route to the car twice and was positive it fell out from my pocket on my jacket which I did not zip up! It was in my mind at that time that it might drop off, but I told myself, it was very close walk home, so it should be alright When I got home with a bag of groceries the evening before, I forgot to remove the keys out of my pocket to place it on the usual spot for keeping it. Having convinced myself of my loss, I prayed to Baba-ji that for the first time being at home that I could not visit him on his special Thursday, and to see Maa as well! So, straight after that
I made myself useful at the computer, learning and trying out new skills instead until David got home.

I decided this morning after another search that NRMA may be able to help!
As usual, I prayed to all the deities at home and looked specially at Baba-ji "hugging" the first bloom of Crysanthenum that was so vibrantly yellow which I plucked yesterday morning! I prayed very diligently for Mata-Di and also asked the "new' Mata-Di, highly respected and worshipped in Taiwan, which looks Indian, but carries a name known by Chinese as "Chun Ti For Ma." Anyone in Taiwan, knows about this famous Goddess worshipped in Chinese temples there, please inform me as I can only sit home and wait for answers, unlike most of my friends that can fly here and there for holidays. For me, I am a home-body and get too tired to walk around too much, so the "net" is GREAT for me!

My son rung me this morning to see if I had called the NRMA yet and also he left the computer on with the page to call the Locks-smith if worst came to the worse! I told him I was very positive that the keys fell out of my pocket!
I also recalled that I did come in and went out to throw out the rubbish which David normally dis when he got home from work as they get too heavy for me sometimes on my arm! I did it because I had more time last evening! The thought of the bins outside being too huge and too unhygienic puts me off to go and ramage through there, so not too worryabout my keys there! All along, I still had full faith, although it seemed a bit funny, that God would make my keys appear somehow from nowhere!!!
I still took my time and prayed to Baba-ji and said "So sorry, I did not get to see Baba-ji, but I did spend some time with him on Diwali night, which was so good. He even gave me a huge red rose (from Umma) who just shoved it into my hand before I left! "Thank you Baba-ji!"

I need to go the the Markets to-day and I still took my time to go out.
I sang some devotional song to Mata-Di with Snowy watching and said the most sweet-sounding Mantra that Swami-ji Chinna Jeeyar taught us in Mukti-Gupteshwar temple which I had recited everyday ever since! For Baba-ji this morning I played an Aarti C.D. for all the Deities in their order and one devoted to Sai. Then later I came across a C.D. on Sri Hanuman Chalisa and I played it on twice because it sounded so beautiful and relaxing! I thought maybe I should put a note for the residents to read, but I thought who wass going to read as nothing is pinned at all on our notice-board!
I told myself, I will leave it to the Gods and took my only spare car key, but I still not have the key to my "steering-wheel lock" which was fastened across the steering wheel!
I told myself, God has helped me so many times already this two months and I can only leave my problems at his feet, and put on my next "thinking cap" if I could not locate the keys!

Then, as I was walking down the drive-way, my neighbour's car drove in with his son inside. Tim,(asked his permission for mention of his name here) wound down his window to wish me and I said if he had asked his wife if I can also mention her name for another letter which I will write soon, regarding the "Seluar Kamis"(Indian ladies attire). He saw me with two keys in my hand and told me that Micheal, another neighbour on the other block where he lives too had found two keys in the "Garbage BIN!"
I exclaimed, "OH mM Gosh! You see, God always look after me!!!!" he smiled at me, and nodded his head and said, "Yeh! Yeh!"I told him I only had a spare key and the other was not, but I wanted to try with it though! Next, he drove in to park and lead me the way to Micheal's block through the security doors and knocked at his door. Micheal opened his door and gladly handed me the keys and remarked that he went knocking on all the doors on his side of the block to find the owner! I thanked him and Tim and said that God is so Great and that he will bless them also and he thanked me in return I did know for what!

So, this is my surprise letter to David. He knows that I am always careless with leaving things around, but this time he was convinced that I had lost my keys as I was so cool about it! He actually very politely asked me to ask "my guide" about it last night and he was so sweet about it. This morning he left for work with so much help that Snowy and I waved him "bye" so many times and said he is such a darling and we love him! Snowy said so many times to him too for the first time, the moment he sensed that he would be leaving for work soon!

I conclude with the note: "Have Total Surrender to God,"and He Will Turn up to Solve things for you, as He is a Problem-Solver when you sincerely call for him.
"Baba, Jai Sai Ram!"

Jai Sai Ram! Jai Mata-Di! Ram,RamSitaRam,Jai Srimanarayana! Hari Krishna! Hari Om! etc. etc. etc.!
Sweet sounds for God!

Blessings and Peace to All!

My Pet bird, Snowy is very Spiritual!

Dear All,

This morning I was awoken up by Snowy's usual early "alarm-call" so he can get his daily attention first before I proceed to do anything else! By the way he is my natural alarm clock which I do not have to programme the night before!

Oh! I hated it this morning as I wanted to sleep in! Last night I got into bed past 1 a. m after our School-mates Reunion: 3 lovely ladies from over Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 1 from Perth, 1 from Canberra and 1 flew back from hols. from Brisbane. They were here only for two days before touring around with their own tourist guide in their package deals.

One of us asked how many of us here to-night? Someone shouted 12! Then P*****said there are 12 of us here, and Jesus is not here! L****answered that Jesus is here somewhere! One of us had earlier left as she had to go somewhere else after dropping off the ladies after the morning sight-seeing! We all laughed as we were all part of the Convent school that we went to in Malaysia! Someone then remarked,"This is definitely not "The Last Supper!" to more laughter! We chatted, ate and laughed most heartedly and so many digital cameras flashed non -stop as though we were "Pressmen" ourselves interviewing some great personalities at a conference! It was a tremendous "Flash-back, memories of "TO SIR, WITH LOVE!" So many things we recalled of ourselves and so more Verbal Expression of Love for our Beloved Teachers who have taught us and touched our lives!
If only the Teachers were here last night, they would have cried, while we laughed! What a funny feeling, _ _ _!

I mentioned that Teachers those days were really held in great esteem in our hearts till to-day! I am sure we are thought of as fondly by those we taught too as a few of us were very passsionate school teachers in our careers as well! One of us was a School Head-Mistress and gone back last year to teach English for a few hours to University students! She just turned 60 this month too and the youngest of us turns 60 this December!

I thank P***** for her magical connection through e-mails that got us all "connected" again at our golden 60 "turned on" to 40 years of age! Oh! it's definitely modern hair colour dye etc. and food awareness! One of us remarked that none of us looked 60, unlike our parents who aged faster than us! So, the cameras went flashing, flashing again like "Fire-flies" in the night! This occasion last night gave me an opportunity to write all these down as my first letter on this page as my mind is still like a flower, fresshly plucked from the garden and placed in a tall vase!

This is my gift of writing to my school-mates who so eagerly planned and flew over here and formed a "Get-together Reunion!" in this modern age of computers and "jet-fast living" and doing our own things!

This is my gift of writing to share "My Expressions of Feelings of Happiness and former anxieties which I had prayed that the good Lord will take care to make it pleasant to all in the end, which ended very successfully! Praise to the Lord!

This is my gift of writing so the rest of those who were all invited to come by P***** could get an idea of how the "Reunion Dinner" went.

It was also so thoughtful of S***P***to ring up from Malaysia to talk to us through the speakers! When the phone was left on the table, I was the first one to pick it up and asked if she remembered me by giving her a clue of four of us singing on School stage. By mentioning the other two names, she straight away regconised who I was. Well done! S***P***! and there was a thunderous applause all around!!!

This morning I went about doing my usual cleaning of my alters and praying and singing in meditation and did not switch on the "sotrums/mantras" as my mind was still recalling the events of last night! I don't "drink," but this was certainly my "hang-over" experience, and there is no joking about it!

After I dotted "kum-kum" on Mata-Di's picture, I forgot to put some on myself and Snowy, who was watching me all the time from his cage! Then, as I was about to finish my morning prayers, he actually called out in his special way to ask for his application of his "kum-kum" ( Love and beauty dot) on his tiny forehead! It surprised me to be made aware of it by my Spiritual pet Corella parrot! So, I quickly dotted myself and him, and it was so pleasant to watch him get down and settle quietly and contentedly on his perch! Soon later he took a snooze. It was"Amazing!" to watch this sequence in the privacy of our humble small home!

I thank God, because all the money in this World could not buy this joy that was given to me only this morning! This is a way God indicated to me that he is happy for me too, because I thanked him last night when I got home safely and for all the golden opportunity of meeting up with all my long "lost" friends, and we are so fond of each other inspite of distance and time, before I climbed into bed! They were all so concerned of me as my "GPS" took me for a ride!!! When my son checked it for me, he said that I had typed in "lane," instead of "street!" Last evening I dashed off and had difficulty using it, I recalled! "Practice makes perfect!" I still have so much to learn, so I must be "Young" to do it right on my next drive out to unfamiliar places again!

I need God's help, God does not need me! That is for sure!

Have a lovely time to all!

Good-will and love always,
Nancy
